sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>RECIPE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Slow Braised Pork<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 250 degrees<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>1.5 lbs. pork shoulder (cut up in large cubes) (from <strong>Weber&#8217;s Meats<\/strong> in Cuba City)<br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1 large onion chopped<br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1 c. cola<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1\/2 c. orange juice<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>2 bay leaves<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>5-8 cloves crushed garlic<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>salt<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>pepper<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Place everything in a Dutch oven and bake for 4 hours.\u00a0 Take pork out of the liquid.\u00a0 It should be very tender and can be pulled apart using two forks.\u00a0 Set aside.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Salsa<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>1\/3 c. diced tomatoes<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1\/4 c. chopped onions<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>2 T. chopped cilantro<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>1 T. lemon juice<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>drizzle of olive oil<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We used store bought corn tacos which we heated using an open flame.\u00a0 A lovely discovery was using leftover butternut squash instead of re-fried beans.\u00a0 It had the satisfying starchy texture but lighter and sweeter.<\/p>\n<p><a
