Something we should mention right from the beginning.\u00a0 We live about an hour outside of Madison (the state capital and college town).\u00a0 We love<\/em> Madison and spend a good deal of our time there.\u00a0 Madison is bound to come up on occasion when we talk about the Dane County Farmer’s Market<\/a>, or L’Etoile<\/a>, or the incomparable Cafe Porta Alba<\/a> (you can rest assured I will be mentioning this place again, I talk about it so much I’ve had to start abbreviating it C.P.A. to save time). But plenty of people are doing a great job covering the food scene there already (first and foremost the fantastic Madison A to Z<\/a>) that we intend to focus on the region\u00a0closer to home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
