Though it’s the end of growing season in\u00a0Wisconsin, I just thought I’d show you that I’m still eating locally and seasonally.\u00a0 I’ve eaten two dishes of pumpkin ice cream\u00a0within the past three days!\u00a0 The one pictured below\u00a0was from Atomic Ice<\/a>.\u00a0 One of my students\u00a0actually told me about it.\u00a0 I had never had pumpkin ice cream before plus she was so enthusiastic\u00a0that I had to try it.\u00a0 At first lick, I was hooked.\u00a0 For my second serving, I happened to drive pass a Culver’s<\/a>\u00a0while\u00a0out doing errands.\u00a0 Guess what the flavor of the day was?\u00a0 Pumpkin Pie.\u00a0 Thoughts of my first pumpkin ice cream immediately came back, the lovely orangey-peachy color, scent, creamy texture, flavor, and\u00a0spices.\u00a0 I was salivating but I had to exercise some self control so I called Keith immediately.\u00a0 The conversation went like this.<\/p>\n

Me:\u00a0 Honey they have pumpkin pie ice cream at Culver’s.\u00a0 Do you think I should get some?<\/p>\n

Keith:\u00a0 Yes.<\/p>\n

Me: OK!\u00a0<\/p>\n
