Happy Birthday darling Keith!\u00a0 I know it’s not perfect yet but at least it looks\u00a0like and tastes\u00a0like\u00a0a cake this year \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I followed the recipe for Devil’s Food Cake on the Pillsbury Softasilk cake flour box.\u00a0 Two things\u00a0I did differently was\u00a0to add\u00a03\/4 c. cocoa powder in the frosting and\u00a0I did not add\u00a0almond extract.\u00a0 The cake was nice and moist but the frosting was way too sweet.\u00a0 I’d definitely make this again but with less sugar and a little more butter for the frosting.\u00a0 Here’s the recipe.<\/a>\u00a0 Cheers!<\/p>\n
