It has been absolutely gorgeous out these last couple of mornings.\u00a0 Right after I woke up and looked out of the kitchen\u00a0window the other day,\u00a0I\u00a0felt this big desire\u00a0to take a picture of a frosty maple\u00a0leaf.\u00a0 Does that ever happen to you?\u00a0 So I bundled-up, stepped outside, and searched for\u00a0just the right\u00a0leaf.\u00a0 It was a perfect bronze color, slightly curled at the tips, and the tiny specks of ice surrounding it sparkled silver from the early light.<\/p>\n

I went from the front yard to the garden out back, to the\u00a0neighbor’s yard, Pendarvis, the prairie surrounding Merry Christmas Mine Hill near Brewery Creek, Shakerag, then up High Street.\u00a0 I\u00a0even got a good look at the\u00a0new\u00a0sculpture park, High Point Arts.\u00a0 A few minutes turned to thirty then two hours had passed\u00a0when I finally made it back home.\u00a0 Ollie dog was not too thrilled that I forgot to give him breakfast, again.\u00a0 Sometimes I get a bit carried away looking for beauty but I think I got a pretty nice haul.\u00a0 What do you think?<\/p>\n

Caf\u00e9 con leche<\/em> means coffee with milk in Spanish.\u00a0 It’s a 1:1 ratio of milk to coffee.\u00a0 My favorite way to make coffee \u00a0is with my little AeroPress<\/a>.\u00a0 This way, you get a smooth beverage with no\u00a0bitterness and without that undesirable\u00a0tannic aftertaste.\u00a0 Make coffee the way you like it then heat up some milk in a small sauce pan.\u00a0 Whisk the milk vigorously\u00a0when it is hot (if you want some foam) then pour it into your cup with the coffee.\u00a0 Add sugar to taste.\u00a0 I love to sip it\u00a0then eat the foam with a spoon!\u00a0 Have a wonderful day. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
