Here’s Sunday morning breakfast:

Nothing too exciting here, but tasty all the same.  The eggs are from Alisha, as in Alisha’s Best of Friends Pet Care.  They taste great, they’re cheap, and  I didn’t even know dogs laid eggs*!   The bacon is from Lois Federman.  If you live in the Midwest you have NO excused not to be eating good locally produced bacon, there’s just so much good bacon.  The balsamic strawberry rhubarb jam (not seen) is made right here in our kitchen by Leslie (post upcoming?).  The potatoes are from…Idaho.  Oh well, can’t eat local all the time.  But the parsley, rosemary, and oregano are from our garden.

I only get to eat a proper breakfast once a week.  Weekdays it’s just a cuppa tea:

or if Leslie is still asleep, it’s just:

*reminds me of a joke from Red Dwarf, to paraphrase:

“There’s nothing wrong with dogs milk.  Lasts longer than any other kind of milk.”

“Why is that?”

“No body will drink it.”
